Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a
Heating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Engineer – Healthcare Facilities
located in Qatar.
The Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the
operation, maintenance, and optimization of HVAC systems within hospital and healthcare environments
, ensuring strict compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control standards.
The role includes managing HVAC systems critical to
patient care areas such as ICUs, operating theatres, isolation rooms, and laboratories
, ensuring proper air quality, pressure differentials, and temperature control.
The Engineer will also review and support HVAC system designs, manage maintenance schedules, and perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting to ensure uninterrupted operations in critical healthcare infrastructure.
Collaboration with FM teams, clinical staff, and compliance with
JCI, MOH, and international healthcare standards
is essential.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in
HVAC Engineering
- , specifically within
- hospital and healthcare facilities
- **Proven experience in HVAC systems supporting critical care environments**
- (OTs, ICUs, isolation rooms, clean rooms)
- Proficiency in
Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
- software for HVAC system planning and healthcare compliance layouts
- Hands-on experience in
- maintenance and repair
- of HVAC systems in healthcare or FM environments
- Solid understanding of
- healthcare regulations
- , infection control standards, and HVAC compliance (ASHRAE, JCI, MOH guidelines)
- Bachelor’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering
- , or a related field
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in
- critical environments
- **Effective communication skills to coordinate with FM teams, biomedical teams, and hospital stakeholders**
- **Previous experience in Facilities Management (FM) within hospitals or healthcare infrastructure**

- Ability to work on-site in Qatar and adapt to a
- high-pressure, compliance-driven healthcare environment
