Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Heating Air Conditioning Technician role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The Heating Air Conditioning Technician will install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and hospitality facilities, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and energy efficiency.
Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues, performing routine and preventive maintenance, replacing or repairing components, and verifying proper system operation.
The role will involve responding to scheduled work orders and emergency call-outs, documenting all work performed, and communicating clearly with supervisors, coordinators, and clients.
The technician will also follow company procedures, adhere to health and safety standards, and support other technical teams on multi-disciplinary maintenance tasks when needed.
Qualifications
- Strong HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, including the ability to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control issues in heating and air conditioning systems.
- Solid knowledge of preventive maintenance practices for HVAC equipment, including inspection, cleaning, calibration, and performance testing.
- Practical experience with basic plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems (e.g., condensate lines, drainage, piping connections) to support safe and efficient operation.
- Working knowledge of electricity and HVAC-related electrical systems, including safe handling of wiring, breakers, controls, and motor circuits.
- Familiarity with applicable environmental and safety standards (EPA or equivalent regulations), and commitment to safe refrigerant handling and disposal.
- Previous experience as an HVAC/AC technician, ideally in residential, commercial, or hospitality environments.
- Technical diploma, vocational training, or trade certification in HVAC, refrigeration, or a related field; additional manufacturer-specific training is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and service reports, with attention to detail and accurate documentation.
- Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team and interact professionally with clients on-site.
