Role Description
The Heating Air Conditioning Technician role at Iustitia Global is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The technician will install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential and commercial settings.
Daily responsibilities include diagnosing system issues, performing routine inspections, executing preventive maintenance, and completing necessary repairs or component replacements.
The role also involves checking system performance, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, coordinating with other technical staff (including plumbing and electrical teams), and documenting work performed.
The technician will interact with clients on-site, explain maintenance recommendations, and support a high standard of customer service and safety.
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of plumbing related to HVAC systems, including condensate drainage and piping.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
- Familiarity with EPA or equivalent environmental and refrigerant handling standards, and adherence to safety regulations.
- Solid understanding of electricity as it applies to HVAC systems, including wiring, controls, and safe work practices.
- Previous experience as an HVAC technician or in a similar technical maintenance role.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse technical team.
- Physical ability to perform onsite work, including lifting equipment, working at heights, and in varying environmental conditions.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in HVAC, mechanical, or electrical fields; additional industry certifications are an advantage.
