Role Description
This is a part-time, remote Heating Air Conditioning Technician role with خدمات اسطا OSTA Services.
The technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including inspection, cleaning, and replacement of filters, coils, and other components.
Daily responsibilities include responding to service requests, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting system issues, and documenting work performed in a clear, organized manner.
The role also involves advising customers on proper system use, energy-efficient operation, and recommended repairs or upgrades, while following safety standards and company procedures.
Collaboration with the remote support team and timely communication with dispatch and customers are key aspects of the position.
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting skills for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving HVAC system issues efficiently.
- Practical experience with plumbing and basic mechanical systems related to HVAC installations and repairs.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices, including inspection, cleaning, and performance checks for HVAC equipment.
- Understanding of electricity and safe handling of electrical components in HVAC systems.
- Relevant EPA or equivalent environmental and safety certifications for handling refrigerants (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe).
- Previous hands-on experience as an HVAC technician or in a related technical field, preferably with residential and light commercial systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
- Strong customer service, communication, and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote, field-based setting.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and readiness to travel to customer sites within assigned areas as needed.
- Vocational training, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems is highly beneficial.
