Chiller Technician
(Specialised in Water-Cooled Systems, HVAC, Electrical & Air Compressor Maintenance)
Key Skills Required
- Strong experience with industrial water-cooled chillers
- Expertise in brazing and copper piping
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC refrigeration systems
- Hands-on experience with chiller control panels and electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs)
- Experience in component replacement (compressors, sensors, solenoids, actuators)
- Strong knowledge of air compressors (screw and reciprocating types)
- Experience in air compressor preventive and corrective maintenance, including:
- Oil, filter, and separator replacement
- Air leak detection and pressure troubleshooting
- Dryer operation, moisture control, and safety inspections
Key Responsibilities
- Chiller repair, commissioning, and refrigerant handling
- Electrical panel diagnostics and fault finding
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of chillers and air compressors
- Handling refrigerant circuits, piping, controls, and compressed air systems
- Ensuring safety compliance, service quality, and timely completion of work
Qualifications and Experience
- ITI or Diploma in HVAC, Electrical, or Refrigeration
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on chiller experience
- UAE Driving License preferred
