HVAC Technician / Air Conditioning Mechanic

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including:
• Air conditioning units
• Ventilation systems
• Dehumidification equipment
• Monitor environmental systems to maintain proper temperature and humidity levels
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical HVAC issues efficiently
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections
• Support system upgrades, modifications, and new installations
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and regulations
• Work closely with operations teams to support facility performance and efficiency

Candidate Requirements

• Experience working as an HVAC Technician or Air Conditioning Mechanic
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ventilation, and climate control systems
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Comfortable working with technical tools and equipment
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Physically capable of handling equipment in an industrial/facility environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant HVAC certification or trade experience
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems is considered an asset
• Experience with commercial or industrial HVAC systems preferred
