About The Role

Ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance across sites in Doha by implementing HSE systems, conducting inspections, and promoting a safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments and job‑hazard analyses; record findings and drive corrective actions.
  • Develop, implement and maintain HSE policies, procedures, safe work permits and permit‑to‑work systems.
  • Deliver toolbox talks, induction training and specialised HSE training; maintain training records.
  • Investigate incidents and near‑misses, lead root‑cause analysis, prepare incident reports and recommend preventive measures.
  • Monitor compliance with Qatari HSE regulations, client standards and company policies; support audits and permit/licence requirements.
  • Manage PPE programmes, safety signage, emergency response plans and site evacuation drills.
  • Track HSE performance metrics (LTIFR, TRIR, near misses, observations) and produce regular reports for management.
  • Coordinate with contractors, supervisors and operations to ensure safe work practices and permit compliance.
  • Support workplace ergonomics, occupational health surveillance and hazardous materials handling.
  • Promote safety culture through behavioral safety observations, campaigns and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience in HSE roles within construction, operations or industrial environments; Qatar/GCC experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Qatari HSE regulations, NEBOSH or IOSH certification desirable.
  • Competence in incident investigation, risk assessment and emergency response planning.
  • Strong communication and training delivery skills; proficiency in MS Office.
  • Valid work authorisation for Qatar.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: QAR19.50 - QAR25.00 per hour
