Job Description:
Devista Tech is seeking a proactive Health & Safety Officer to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health and safety across all operations, contributing to a safe and compliant work environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Provide training and support to employees on health and safety protocols.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, documenting findings and recommending improvements.
- Stay updated on health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Certification in health and safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
- Proven experience as a Health & Safety Officer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary:
- Competitive hourly rate ranging from 80 -* 150QAR*, based on experience and qualifications.
