Responsibilities
- Communicate safety and security policies and enforcement procedures to students, staff, and visitors.
- Conduct and monitor fire drills, lockdowns, and other emergency procedure drills.
- Escort students, school personnel, and visitors to provide direction and maintain safety.
- Maintain schedules, incident reports, and emergency drill records for reference and compliance.
- Monitor student behavior during school activities and events.
- Participate in meetings, training, workshops, and hearings.
- Patrol school grounds, roads, buildings, adjacent areas, and parking lots.
- Prepare written incident reports and referrals.
- Provide traffic and parking control.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate safety and security policies and enforcement procedures to students, staff, and visitors.
- Ability to conduct and monitor fire drills, lockdowns, and other emergency procedure drills.
- Ability to maintain schedules, incident reports, emergency drill records, and related files.
- Ability to prepare written incident reports and referrals accurately.
- Ability to monitor student behavior and maintain a safe, positive, and secure learning environment.
