Duties and Responsibilities of a Head Waitress
Supervision of Station and Service Flow
· Oversee the mise-en-place of the assigned station, ensuring that all necessary preparations are completed before service begins.
· Monitor and guide team members to maintain a smooth and efficient service operation throughout each shift.
Table Layout and Presentation Standards
· Inspect table layouts within the lounge to confirm they meet organizational and brand standards.
· Check and arrange table settings in the lounge and offices as required, ensuring attention to detail and guest preferences.
Equipment and Furniture Maintenance
· Regularly check the serviceability and cleanliness of all equipment and furniture in the lounge and service areas.
· Report and coordinate any necessary repairs or replacements to maintain a high-quality guest environment to the Floor & Lounge Supervisor.
Guest and VIP Service
· Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and VIP visitors, ensuring all preferences and special requests are noted.
· Ensure appropriate plating and service of dishes at guests’ tables, considering guest preferences, selections, and any dietary needs.
Staff Coordination and Duty Assignment
· Assign duties and responsibilities to staff members, ensuring equitable distribution of work.
· Provide clear guidance and direction to staff to maximize efficiency and service quality.
Hygiene and Discipline Enforcement
· Ensure that all staff members adhere to company hygiene and grooming standards at all times.
· Monitor discipline and professional behavior within the team, addressing issues promptly and appropriately.
Event and Calendar Coordination
· Ensuring food and beverage arrangements align with guest lists and executive requirements (e.g., GCEO or VIPs).
· Responsible to prepare the daily snacks and lunches for the GCEO.
· Liaise with executive assistants and Floor & Lounge Supervisors to guarantee timely preparation and delivery of F&B arrangements for executive offices and special events.
Meeting and Catering Support
· Support the Floor & Lounge Supervisor in arranging weekly coffee meetings and coordinating catering services required for the Executive Office.
· Ensure all arrangements meet the high standards expected by executive leadership and guests.
Communication and Liaison
· Act as a point of contact between guests, executive assistants, pantry staff, and kitchen personnel to facilitate seamless service delivery.
· Address and resolve guest concerns or special requests promptly, ensuring maximum satisfaction.
Continuous Improvement
· Identify areas for service improvement and recommend solutions to enhance guest & GCEO’s experience.
· Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on best practices and new service standards.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
