Qualifications
- Qualification & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Power Engineering.
- Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field) is preferred.
- Strong academic foundation in power systems, electrical engineering, and project management. In-depth knowledge of standards and best practices for power system equipment and components.
- 18+ years of experience in the power or renewable energy sector, with a focus on project engineering, testing, and certification.
- Hands-on experience in protection relays and metering systems
Responsibilities
- Direct all project and maintenance operations to ensure they meet strategic goals and technical standards, optimizing performance metrics and compliance.
- Lead detailed project planning, including schedules and resource allocation, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines, and resolving any issues promptly.
- Utilize advanced metrics and diagnostic tools to enhance system performance, reduce downtime, and integrate predictive maintenance models for improved efficiency.
- Manage the budget for protection systems, ensuring cost-effective implementation and maintenance without compromising on quality or compliance.
- Promote sustainability by incorporating environmentally responsible practices and materials into protection system design and operations.
- Conduct regular compliance audits, manage documentation, and address deviations to ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and environmental regulations.
- Offer expert leadership to project and maintenance teams, resolve technical challenges, and ensure best practices and standards are consistently applied.
- Identify and implement new digital tools or technologies to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and improve data analysis in commissioning processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field) is preferred.
