Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of Pre-Sales to lead solution strategy, technical-commercial engagement, and enterprise solution design across payment technology opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in the payments ecosystem, solution consulting, and enterprise technology engagements, with the ability to partner with Business Development teams to create scalable, commercially viable payment solutions for banks, fintechs, PSPs, and enterprise clients.

The role will act as the bridge between business, technology, product, and client stakeholders, ensuring successful solution positioning, proposal development, and conversion of strategic opportunities.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 14–18 years of experience within payments, fintech, banking technology, or financial services.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in Pre-Sales, Solution Consulting, Solution Architecture, or Enterprise Solution Design roles.
  • Proven experience handling enterprise payment technology engagements and complex solution discussions.
  • Strong understanding of regional payment ecosystems, market trends, and regulatory environments.
  • Experience working with card networks and payment partners including Visa, Mastercard, etc.

Domain Expertise Required

  • Card Issuing Solutions (CMS, EMV, Digital Issuance, Tokenization)
  • Merchant Acquiring Solutions (POS, E-commerce, Terminal Management Systems)
  • Payment Gateway, Aggregator, and PSP Business Models

• Managed Payment Services And Payment-as-a-Service Models

  • Payment Processing Operations (Settlement, Reconciliation, Chargebacks, Disputes)

• API-Based Payment Integrations

  • Cloud, On-Premise, and Hybrid Technology Deployments
  • Digital Payments, Wallets, and Alternative Payment Methods

Key Skills

  • Strong combination of technical, commercial, and solutioning expertise
  • Ability to lead complex business and technology discussions with enterprise clients
  • Strong RFP, proposal management, and deal support experience
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Ability to influence decision-makers and drive solution adoption
  • Strong understanding of payment industry trends and emerging technologies
