Role overview
Meerana Patisserie seeks an experienced, hands-on Head Pastry Chef to lead its pastry and bakery kitchen at Manar Mall in Ras Al Khaimah.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in pastry and bakery.
- Strong leadership and ability to manage a full kitchen team; excellent teamwork, communication, and organization.
- Ability to manage daily production and workflow efficiently and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of current pastry and bakery trends; creative ability to develop and improve products.
- Must have strong experience in croissants and laminated pastries, focaccia and different breads, choux pastry and éclairs, cookies, bomboloni and doughnuts, cinnamon rolls, breakfast items, cakes, pastries, and desserts.
Main responsibilities
- Lead and manage the kitchen team; organize daily production and staff workflow.
- Train and guide kitchen staff.
- Maintain consistent quality, taste, and presentation, as well as hygiene and kitchen standards.
- Encourage teamwork and a positive working environment; ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours.
