Position summary
The Head of Security Operations ensures the performance, stability, and continuity of Group Security Operations products internationally.
The role oversees operations activities, workforce capacity, budget adequacy, KPIs, incident trends, automation needs, and operational readiness for new features.
The role empowers Operations Managers to operate products, escalate issues, and maintain high service availability.
The position is on the Global Cybersecurity team and is located in the Montreal office.
Cross-product strategy and governance
- Maintain a unified operational strategy across products and ensure consistent service quality and 24/7 continuity.
- Align operations with Group Security Operations priorities and business expectations; participate in decision boards and escalate key topics and risks.
- Balance operational workload, maturity, staffing, and service reliability across products.
Performance, KPIs, and budget
- Consolidate product health reviews covering availability, incidents, SLAs, capacity, and risks.
- Oversee operational KPIs and alert the organization when thresholds are reached or risks are identified.
- Manage the operational budget with the Group Security Operations Office, ensuring adequate workforce and FTE capacity.
- Provide operational reporting and dashboards to support data-driven decisions.
Leadership and continuous improvement
- Ensure Operations Managers control product operations and continuity; set objectives and coach their development.
- Maintain escalation flows, ensure operational topics reach decision boards, and validate critical decisions affecting continuity, resources, or risk mitigation.
- Identify cross-product automation opportunities and work with product, expertise, and automation teams to prioritize operational needs.
- Ensure operations teams are onboarded and ready for new features.
Candidate requirements
- Experienced leadership of cybersecurity operations teams in an international capacity.

- The role is located in the Montreal office.
Global cybersecurity team
The Group Cybersecurity Department has more than 250 team members and covers subsidiaries and entities across maritime, logistics, ships, terminals, warehouses, and other domains.
The department monitors around 80 projects and provides continuous 24/7 operations, with teams based in multiple international locations.
