The Head of Sales Division is responsible for leading the sales department, including direct supervision of Area Sales Supervisors and Sales Executives.
This role requires the consistent delivery of strategic and operational sales targets, monitoring of departmental performance, and the implementation of data-driven strategies to optimize commercial success.
The incumbent must possess strong commercial acumen, analytical capabilities, and a deep understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior.
The role also includes managing external partnerships and collaborating cross-functionally across departments.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Develop and implement annual, seasonal, and monthly sales targets and strategic initiatives to meet organizational goals.
· Oversee departmental sales planning, promotions, and campaigns to maximize revenue opportunities.
· Establish and promote a strong departmental vision and work culture aligned with organizational values.
· Provide mentorship and development to key team members, ensuring succession planning and leadership continuity.
· Design and execute sales strategies and action plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
· Analyze sales performance using appropriate analytics tools to identify trends, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
· Collaborate with relevant departments to launch new services and ensure alignment with sales strategies.
· Manage administrative functions including departmental planning, budgeting, and goal setting.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders including landlords and partners.
· Lead market research initiatives to maintain competitiveness and identify new business opportunities.
· Continuously train and develop the sales team to improve performance and capabilities.
· Attend internal and external meetings, conferences, and industry events as a representative of the organization.
· Deliver monthly reports on sales performance against targets and provide variance analysis.
· Perform additional duties as assigned by the Commercial Director, CEO, or President.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
· Minimum 3 years of relevant sales leadership experience within an FMCG industry.
· Proven track record in developing successful sales strategies and managing high-performing teams.
· Strong understanding of market analysis, product positioning, and competitive intelligence.
· UAE Driving License required
