The Role

The GCC is executing the most ambitious payments modernisation agenda in the world.

Saudi Vision 2030's cashless target, the UAE's position as a global fintech hub, and parallel national payment strategies across Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman mean institutional budgets for terminal infrastructure modernisation are real and allocated — now.

You will own Wiseasy's GCC commercial agenda: setting regional strategy, building senior institutional relationships, and closing enterprise Cloud + Software + Terminal deployments across six markets with direct P&L accountability.

If you have spent your career in global payment hardware or enterprise terminal sales — building acquiring bank relationships, managing fleet modernisation programmes, and navigating complex multi-country procurement — and are ready to sell an intelligent platform rather than just a device, this role is the natural next step.

What You will Own

  • Regional P&L Ownership — Own and deliver the GCC revenue plan across UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman. Set country-level priorities and be accountable for pipeline, conversion, and revenue.
  • Executive Relationship Building — Develop C-suite relationships at the region's largest acquiring banks (First Abu Dhabi Bank, Emirates NBD, Al Rajhi Bank, Saudi National Bank, QNB, National Bank of Kuwait), national payment networks (Mada, BENEFIT, KNET, NAPS), government-linked payment entities, and leading regional PSPs and ISVs.
  • Regulatory Navigation — Convert SAMA, CBUAE, QCB, CBK, CBB, and CBO mandates into commercial openings. Position Wiseasy as the compliance-ready, lower-risk partner for institutions navigating central bank requirements and open banking frameworks.
  • Market Activation — Turn GITEX, Seamless Middle East, and Saudi FinTech Summit into qualified enterprise pipeline. Execute localised GTM campaigns tailored to each market's regulatory and procurement context.
  • Account Expansion — Move existing GCC relationships from pilots to full national fleet modernisation programmes. Cross-sell cloud-managed services and software intelligence onto established hardware relationships.
  • Cross-Functional Product Influence — Partner with product and engineering on GCC-specific requirements: Arabic terminal UI, Islamic banking transaction flows, Mada/BENEFIT/KNET certification, and local data residency compliance.
  • AI-Native Sales Leadership — Drive AI-assisted commercial operations across the regional team — sharper account intelligence, faster proposals, better multi-market pipeline prioritisation.

Who You Are

You have 10+ years of B2B enterprise sales in payments, fintech, POS, payment hardware, SaaS, PSP, or ISV ecosystems — with substantial GCC tenure and a verifiable track record of closed enterprise deals, not just managed pipelines.

You may have built your career at a global payment terminal manufacturer or hardware-led payment company, where you developed deep central bank and acquiring institution relationships across the Gulf and understood large-scale terminal fleet deployments from the inside.
