Lead platform engineering for a global technology group operating across sectors and geographies.

Build foundations that help engineering teams deliver faster, more safely, and at lower cost.

The role suits a hands-on platform leader who has built internal developer platforms and can demonstrate reliability and cost outcomes.

Own Group-wide platform strategy spanning cloud infrastructure, developer tooling, CI/CD, observability, and reliability.
Build and run an internal developer platform with standardized paths that reduce delivery time across business units.
Lead SRE and platform teams, setting reliability targets, incident practices, and engineering standards.
Drive multi-cloud architecture, security by design, and FinOps across environments.
Align platform investment with Group priorities in partnership with technology and business leaders.
Hire, develop, and retain a high-calibre platform organization.

10+ years in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering, including at least three years leading teams at scale.
Proven record building and operating internal developer platforms in a large, complex environment.
Deep hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and cloud-native architecture on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong SRE and observability background with ownership of reliability and cost outcomes.
Experience in a multi-business-unit group, enterprise, or high-growth environment.
Credibility with CTOs and business leaders as well as engineers.
