Role overview

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across a multifaceted hospitality and catering operation.
• Lead and develop direct reports; work with the Head Chef on business performance, service standards and culinary excellence.
• Own financial reporting, budgets, cost control and commercial performance.
• Collaborate with General Managers and senior operational leaders to share best practice and meet business objectives.
• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver exceptional client service.
• Oversee high-volume hospitality services and premium events to consistently high standards.
• Attend at least one evening event each week to support delivery.
• Improve operational efficiency, develop teams and drive revenue growth.

Candidate profile

• Experience managing a large, complex hospitality or catering operation at the scale and pace of a major corporate site, stadium or similarly high-volume venue.
• Proven financial management experience covering budgets, cost control, reporting and commercial performance.
• Experience leading multiple teams and managing senior direct reports.
• Strong understanding of front-of-house hospitality and food service operations.
• Experience delivering premium hospitality and high-profile events in a demanding environment.
• Ability to build client relationships and work effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Proactive, commercially minded approach balancing operational excellence with outstanding customer service.
• High-volume hospitality, contract catering or large-scale commercial catering background; deputy general managers, senior operations managers and general managers are encouraged to apply.
