Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven **Head of Landscaping & Plantation** to lead and manage all landscaping, plantation, and horticultural operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and hands-on experience delivering high-quality landscaping projects suitable for UAE climatic conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and oversee all landscaping and plantation activities across multiple projects
- Manage site execution including planting, maintenance, irrigation systems, soil preparation, and plant health
- Ensure selection of appropriate plants, trees, and materials suitable for local climate and soil conditions
- Supervise site teams, supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors
- Monitor quality standards, plant survival rates, and overall site performance
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, consultants, and suppliers
- Prepare work schedules, method statements, and progress reports
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and local authority requirements
- Control costs, material usage, and manpower efficiency
Qualifications & Experience
- BSc (Honors) in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in landscaping, plantation, or horticultural operations
- Proven experience managing teams and handling multiple sites/projects
- Strong technical knowledge of plants, trees, irrigation systems, soil mixes, and maintenance practices
Language Requirements
- English – Required
- Hindi – Required
- Native language – Required
- Arabic – Preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Knowledge of UAE landscaping standards and practices is an advantage
