Responsibilities
- Collaborate on annual enterprise risk assessment and prepare a risk-based audit plan for technology and information security.
- Execute planned and specially requested audits to required quality standards and timelines.
- Follow up on open audit findings and support timely, appropriate closure.
- Conduct investigations and special reviews when requested by senior leadership or the board audit committee.
- Improve audit methods, tools, and processes in line with IIA global standards and industry practices.
- Serve as technology subject-matter expert and align audit recommendations with industry practices.
Qualifications and experience
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree is required; computer science or information systems is preferred.
- At least 15 years of experience in information technology, IT audit, and/or information security is required.
- Financial-services experience in the GCC is preferred.
- Professional certifications listed are CISA, CISSP, COBIT/ITIL, and PCI DSS/ISO 27001; the source does not identify which are mandatory.
Technical competencies
- Experience in core infrastructure, network and security operations, and/or auditing.
- Knowledge of containerization, virtualization, operating system platforms, and servers such as Oracle.
