Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic
Head of IT
to lead and manage the entire IT function for a growing e-commerce company.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving digital transformation, ensuring system reliability, and aligning technology with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IT operations, infrastructure, and development teams
- Oversee e-commerce platforms, website performance, and system integrations
- Develop and implement IT strategy aligned with business objectives
- Ensure data security, cybersecurity measures, and compliance standards
- Manage ERP, CRM, payment gateways, and third-party integrations
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and scalability
- Lead digital transformation and automation initiatives
- Manage IT budgets, vendors, and procurement
- Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity planning
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles
- Strong experience in e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, or similar)
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance
- Experience in ERP systems and API integrations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
- Experience in fast-growing e-commerce or retail environments
- Knowledge of data analytics, AI, and automation tools
