Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as the Head of Information Technology at a new startup from Sagest.tech, based in Dubai.
The Head of IT will oversee the strategic direction, management, and execution of the organization's IT initiatives.
Responsibilities
include developing and implementing IT strategies, managing IT operations and infrastructure, and ensuring smooth and secure technology services across all departments.
The role also involves leading IT teams, optimizing system performance, and aligning technology with business goals to foster innovation and growth.
Qualifications
- Managing the tech from inception with the lean tech startup.
- Proficiency in Information Technology concepts and practices.
- Demonstrated experience in IT Management and IT Operations, including leading and coordinating teams.
- Expertise in creating and implementing IT Strategy to align with organizational objectives.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure setup, maintenance, and optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership abilities.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships effectively.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and their application in business growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a plus.
