Role overview

Strategy and commercial leadership

• Define the Data & AI strategy and go-to-market approach with the Office of the CTO and key AI stakeholders.
• Manage a profitable team and deliver revenue and gross profit targets across data platforms, engineering, integration, governance, analytics, and applied AI.
• Create and execute a business plan aligned with CDW strategy.

Practice and customer growth

• Lead the Data & AI Centre of Excellence across modern data platforms, lakehouse, data engineering, integration, governance, quality, analytics, business intelligence, and applied AI.
• Develop data-readiness assessments, discovery, and remediation offerings that can expand into transformation programs.
• Improve customer and seller experiences, delivery models, win rates, and customer up-sell and cross-sell.
• Evolve the practice for a fast-moving market and support opportunities from presales through delivery.

Partners and market

• Develop market insights and competitive intelligence with internal sales, technology, partner, and marketing teams.
• Manage senior relationships with Microsoft and other strategic Data & AI vendors, maximizing partner funding and co-sell programs.

Role requirements

• Leadership of the Data & AI Solution Sales team, with responsibility for standards, direction, continuous improvement, and team growth.
• Set strategy and go-to-market plans and manage positive P&L performance.
• Ensure propositions align with UK regulation, data protection, data sovereignty, and responsible AI expectations.
• Create learning and development programs, including vendor certification pathways across data and AI.
