Job objectives
Provide leadership and hands-on support to the Credit Administration Department team.
Ensure departmental work follows credit sanctions and approvals and complies with the bank’s credit policy and procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with sanctions, approvals, credit policy, and procedures to manage credit risks.
- Support internal and external audits, respond to queries, provide information, and address audit comments.
- Support and implement credit-risk management and other value-adding projects.
- Monitor Credit Operations, Documentation, and MIS staff; provide tools, training, guidance, and encouragement.
- Review signed borrower documents for accuracy and completeness and verify required legal documents and undertakings before credit release.
- Administer policies and procedures consistently in line with bank objectives and regulations.
- Prepare and update reports, trackers, and systems; maintain Document Tracking System records.
- Maintain safe custody and traceability of securities and collateral, and supervise department processes.
Experience and knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
- At least 10 years of UAE banking experience.
- Experience in Credit or CAD management.

- Collaborative project-team working, sound judgment, analytical and problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Teamwork, communication, interpersonal, leadership, and administrative skills.
- Ability to work independently or in teams and under pressure.
