Role Overview

Accountabilities

• Define content strategy, audience, and how content supports business objectives, customer needs, and product positioning.
• Establish and maintain high editorial standards for clarity, accuracy, consistency, engagement, and practical value.
• Perform hands-on editing and copywriting, restructuring and rewriting drafts to strengthen messaging and impact.
• Develop and optimize AI-supported content workflows that improve productivity while meeting editorial standards.
• Lead a small team of writers with editorial guidance, constructive feedback, and clear expectations.
• Monitor content results, interpret performance metrics, and use data to guide editorial decisions.
• Test new content formats, topics, messaging, and production methods, learning from experiments and scaling successes.
• Partner with marketing, product teams, and executive leadership to keep content relevant and aligned.
• Work independently, identify opportunities proactively, and take responsibility for content quality and performance.
• Build a culture focused on exceptional writing, editorial judgment, continuous learning, and business impact.

• Outstanding writing, editing, and copywriting skills with the ability to transform drafts into polished material.

• Comfort working with content metrics and using performance data to inform strategic and editorial decisions.
• Well-developed editorial judgment with confidence to make decisions, test new ideas, and evaluate effectiveness.
• Background in technology, software, SaaS, or technical content with ability to communicate complex products clearly.
• Ability to connect editorial priorities with customer needs, product positioning, marketing objectives, and business goals.
• Proactive, hands-on working style with ability to take ownership and deliver results without detailed instructions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
