Essential requirements
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Proven experience improving processes and building automations; confident daily use of AI tools.
- Experience in operations, administration, or e-commerce; fast, efficient learner who takes ownership.
- Able to work full-time from the Abu Dhabi office, 5.5 days per week.
E-commerce and customer care
- Maintain Shopify product uploads, listings, prices, SKUs, collections, stock, images, and assets.
- Own the customer inbox; resolve order, return, and delivery issues and fix recurring problems.
- Provide wholesale partners with quotes, invoices, and shipping updates; onboard new partners.
Warehouse, logistics, and inventory
- Manage dispatch and courier bookings with Quiqup and DHL; oversee picking, packing, and fulfilment.
- Prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs documents; coordinate with freight agents.
- Manage goods-in checks, storage, batch and expiry tracking, packaging supplies, and cycle counts.
- Reconcile stock across Shopify, the warehouse, and Xero, and flag reorder needs.
Accounts, compliance, and margins
- Raise invoices and quotes, monitor payments, chase overdue receivables, and support the accountant in Xero.
- Manage UAE portal submissions for Montaji, EDAS, and FTA, and maintain a compliance calendar.
- Track cost, landed cost, and margin per SKU and report monthly.
Automation and process improvement
- Automate manual, repetitive, or error-prone processes using tools such as Shopify Flow, Zapier, or Make.
- Use AI tools for customer replies, product content, reports, and documentation; set alerts for stock, orders, payments, and compliance.
- Write and maintain SOPs in an Operations Playbook and log automations and time saved.
Preferred skills
- Shopify or Xero experience is a plus, not required.
- Canva experience is nice to have.
Workplace and schedule
- Office-based role in Abu Dhabi; the description specifies in-person work.
- Full-time schedule of 5.5 days per week, Monday to Friday plus a Saturday half-day.
Compensation and leave
- Salary is AED 5,000 or more per month, plus UAE visa and health insurance.
- The posting states 30 calendar days of leave.
