Overview
Market Expansion & Strategy Development: Develop and implement business development strategies to increase the company’s presence and market share in the MEA region.
Identify and evaluate potential market entry opportunities, including new geographies, sectors, and strategic partnerships.
Conduct market analysis and research to understand the competitive landscape, customer needs, and regional trends in various sectors (e.g., manufacturing, technology, infrastructure).
Lead the formulation and execution of both short-term and long-term business development plans.
About the Role
: Relationship Building & Key Partnerships: Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, clients, distributors, and partners across the MEA region.
Develop partnerships and alliances with local and regional stakeholders to expand business opportunities and drive mutual growth.
Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts and prospects, understanding their requirements and delivering tailored solutions.
Responsibilities

- Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth: Lead and inspire the MEA sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets by developing clear sales strategies and setting measurable objectives. Collaborate with the sales team to track performance and ensure the achievement of business development goals. Oversee negotiations and closing of key deals, ensuring they align with the company's overall objectives and profitability targets.
- Brand Building & Market Positioning: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows across the MEA region, enhancing brand visibility and credibility. Act as the company’s ambassador and thought leader in the region, promoting corporate values and expertise. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop region-specific branding, marketing materials, and promotional activities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, finance, operations, and legal, to ensure business development initiatives are successfully executed. Collaborate with the product development teams to tailor offerings to the specific needs of the MEA market. Ensure smooth coordination and alignment between the business development team and the regional leadership.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting: Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats. Provide regular reports and updates on market dynamics, pipeline development, and key performance indicators to senior management. Utilize data-driven insights to refine business development strategies and tactics.
- P&L Management & Budgeting: Manage the business development budget for the MEA region, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to drive growth. Oversee P&L for regional business development initiatives, ensuring financial targets and cost efficiency are met. Develop financial forecasts and business cases for key initiatives, assessing the return on investment (ROI).
