The company collaborates with leading international retailers and brands to develop apparel that is trend-focused, reliable, and carefully produced.
Design leadership, quality assurance, and sustainability are central to Tulip’s operations, supported by modern production lines and rigorous quality checks.

Role Description
The Head Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai office, responsible for leading the end-to-end design function from concept to final collection.
This role oversees seasonal trend research, mood boards, and range planning, and translates market insights into commercially viable, brand-aligned collections for global clients.
The Head Designer will guide and mentor the design team, review and refine sketches, fabrics, and trims, and ensure cohesive design language across product lines.
Daily responsibilities include collaborating closely with merchandising, production, and sourcing teams to align design intent with cost, quality, and lead-time objectives; managing design presentations for buyers and brand partners; and ensuring adherence to sustainability, fit, and quality standards.
The role also involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, monitoring competitor and market activity, and continuously elevating Tulip’s creative and design capabilities.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership in fashion design, with experience heading or managing a design team within apparel or fashion manufacturing.
- Proficiency in end-to-end design development, including trend research, concept creation, mood boards, range planning, and technical handover to sampling/production teams.
- Demonstrated ability to design for international markets and retailers, with a strong understanding of global fashion trends, target consumer behavior, and brand positioning.
- Hands-on experience with fabric selection, trims, garment construction, and fit, including collaboration with pattern-making and sampling teams.
- Portfolio showing strength in both creative innovation and commercial, saleable designs across categories (e.g., womenswear, menswear, kidswear, or relevant segments).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present collections and concepts to buyers, brand teams, and internal leadership.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, working effectively with merchandising, sourcing, production, and quality teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to sustainable and ethical design practices, including familiarity with eco-friendly materials and responsible production
