Role Overview
Lead transportation and offshore heavy-lift installation for the BH Redevelopment Project, including topsides, jackets, bridge support structures, and topside floatover operations.
Ensure installation support engineering and offshore execution comply with approved scope, AFC drawings, and QatarEnergy safety, environmental, technical, and specification requirements.
Interface with construction management, the Asset Holder, contractors, and Senior Installation Supervisors; guide construction supervisors and contractors.

Primary purpose
Lead transportation and offshore heavy-lift installation for the BH Redevelopment Project, including topsides, jackets, bridge support structures, and topside floatover operations.
Ensure installation support engineering and offshore execution comply with approved scope, AFC drawings, and QatarEnergy safety, environmental, technical, and specification requirements.
Interface with construction management, the Asset Holder, contractors, and Senior Installation Supervisors; guide construction supervisors and contractors.
Experience and skills
- At least 15 years of offshore floatover and heavy-lift installation experience involving topsides, jackets, bridges, and associated offshore structures.
- Experience in offshore T&I activities, including load-out, transportation, material inspections, and offshore execution; strong offshore Oil & Gas EPIC delivery experience.
- Review and approve contractor engineering, construction, and installation deliverables, including method statements, ITPs, schedules, and technical drawings.
- Apply industry standards, quality, HSE, and environmental requirements; identify risks, resolve issues, and provide practical solutions.
- Lead and supervise multinational, multicultural contractor workforces; strong communication and English proficiency are required.
- Company Site Representative experience is an advantage.
Education
- B.Sc. in Engineering or Construction Management, or an Engineering/Petroleum Engineering diploma, or HND/Advanced Diploma L3 (SVQ/NVQ-L3) or equivalent.
- Relevant courses in Safety, Quality Control, and Construction are required.
