Hero’s Journey is the first AI-powered multi-modality fitness concept in the UAE — combining five training zones, proprietary programming, measurable progression, and a category-defining member experience.
We are looking for an experienced, inspiring, and highly capable Head Coach to lead our coaching team, uphold training standards, and deliver an exceptional member experience.
This role is responsible for coach development, class quality, programming execution, member results, and building a high-performance coaching culture.
The ideal candidate combines strong leadership with extensive experience in strength & conditioning, functional training, and group coaching.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new coaches
- Develop and maintain a high-performing coaching team
- Conduct regular coach evaluations and performance reviews
- Deliver ongoing education, mentoring, and development sessions
- Lead team meetings and internal training workshops
- Foster a positive, accountable, and professional coaching culture
Coaching Quality & Standards
- Ensure all coaches deliver sessions according to company standards
- Conduct regular class audits and quality assessments
- Maintain consistency across all training experiences
- Support the implementation of fitness programming and operational procedures
- Ensure coaching excellence across strength training, functional fitness, conditioning, and gym floor operations
Operations & Scheduling
- Build and manage coach schedules
- Ensure full class coverage and staffing requirements
- Monitor attendance, coach performance, and operational KPIs
- Support club operations and member experience initiatives
- Work closely with the Operations and Marketing teams to continuously improve service standards
Coaching Delivery
- Lead flagship classes and key member-facing training sessions
- Maintain a visible presence on the gym floor
- Act as a role model for coaching excellence
- Balance coaching responsibilities with leadership, mentoring, and team development
Essential
- Minimum 5 years of coaching experience within the fitness industry
- Strong experience in strength training and gym floor coaching
- Experience in functional fitness, strength & conditioning, performance training, HYROX, CrossFit, boutique fitness, or similar training environments
- Previous experience leading, mentoring, or supervising coaches
- Strong knowledge of exercise technique, movement quality, and coaching methodology
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organizational and scheduling abilities
- Fluent English
Preferred
- Experience within premium fitness clubs or boutique fitness concepts
- Experience opening or scaling fitness facilities
- Additional coaching certifications
- Experience working with large coaching teams
- Additional languages are a plus

Compensation
- Base Salary: AED 20,000–23,000 per month
- Monthly Performance Bonus: up to 20% of base salary
- Annual performance bonus
