Role description
The Head Clerk provides part-time remote administrative and clerical support to program leadership and staff.
The role requires attention to detail, timely task completion, and collaboration with team members in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage digital records, organize documents, prepare reports, and maintain accurate data in institutional systems.
- Coordinate virtual meetings, handle routine communication with students and faculty, and assist with scheduling and calendar management.
- Track expenditures, reconcile simple records, and ensure documentation is complete and complies with school policies.
Qualifications
- Strong administrative and clerical skills, including document management, data entry, and record keeping.
- Proficiency with office software and digital tools such as word processing, spreadsheets, shared drives, and video conferencing platforms.
- Effective written and verbal communication; organization and time management; basic accounting or finance understanding.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, data privacy, independence, initiative, and ability to collaborate with a diverse academic community.
- Prior academic, administrative, or clerical experience is preferred; current enrollment in a business or related program is a plus.
