**Location:** Dubai, UAE

We are seeking an experienced **Head Chef specializing in Seafood Cuisine** to lead our kitchen operations.

The ideal candidate must have a strong background in seafood-focused restaurants or premium hospitality brands and be currently based in the UAE.

This position requires a highly skilled culinary professional with exceptional leadership abilities, a deep understanding of seafood preparation and menu development, and a proven track record of managing kitchen operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and manage all daily kitchen operations.
  • Develop, test, and refine seafood-focused recipes and menu offerings.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to achieve high performance.
  • Maintain strict control over food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and food cost control while minimizing waste.
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
  • Oversee kitchen scheduling and manpower planning.
  • Collaborate with management on menu development, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
  • Address and resolve food quality concerns and customer feedback promptly.

Requirements

  • Currently based in the UAE.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Minimum **2 years of experience as a Head Chef** OR **4 years as a Sous Chef** in a seafood-focused restaurant concept.
  • Strong expertise in fish and seafood preparation, cooking techniques, sourcing, and menu development.
  • Experience in Mediterranean seafood cuisine is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience working in the UAE with a good understanding of local regulations and standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to implement and maintain kitchen SOPs, standards, and checklist systems.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
