Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage daily kitchen operations and food preparation
  • Lead, mentor, and train kitchen staff
  • Develop and update menus while maintaining consistency and quality
  • Ensure food presentation and portion standards are met
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering requirements
  • Control food costs and reduce waste
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with management on operational improvements and guest satisfaction
  • Create staff schedules and maintain an organized, efficient kitchen environment

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or similar leadership position
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, menu planning, and cost management
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Culinary diploma or formal culinary training preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment
