Lead the kitchen team and daily operations while ensuring food quality, consistency, presentation, hygiene, and profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, train, and develop the kitchen team.
- Oversee food preparation, quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Develop menus and maintain culinary standards aligned with Soraya's concept.
- Manage food costs, stock, purchasing, and waste control.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and UAE regulations.
- Coordinate with management to support smooth service and an excellent guest experience.
Candidate qualifications
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Chef de Cuisine in fine dining or an upscale hospitality venue.
- Strong culinary skills and excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of menu development, food costing, stock control, and kitchen profitability.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- A hands-on approach, attention to detail, and passion for excellent dining experiences.
- Persian or Middle Eastern cuisine experience is an advantage.
