About This Role
Primary Purpose Of The Job
- To lead, manage and successfully deliver the EPIC Execution Phase for the PS3 BH Field Redevelopment Project – covering both Greenfield and Brownfield scopes— ensuring delivery within cost, schedule, quality, and HSE requirements in line with QatarEnergy's Project Management Framework.
- The role acts as the Project Manager’s primary deputy, accountable for day‑to‑day coordination, decision‑making, and execution oversight for all EPIC activities across engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, pre‑commissioning, commissioning, and handover.
- The EPIC Phase Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to:
- New Production Station (PS3) bridge connected to the existing complex, consisting of a Process (PS3K) Platform, a Utilities and Living Quarters (PS3L) Platform, MJ Separation and Compression (PS3M), Riser Platform (PS3R), Flare and interconnecting bridges with structural props.
- Brownfield Modifications to existing PS3A,PS3B and PS3C, plus HV Electrical modifications and Civil works at Halul Island.
- A structural Prop and new 4 leg jacket with topside for injection wells.
- Structural Props (support platform) at several remote WHJs.
Required Experience And Skills
- At least 10 years in senior Project Management roles delivering large offshore packages.
- Proven leadership delivering multi‑billion USD EPIC contracts involving Topsides, Jackets, Brownfield modifications, offshore construction, installation, and commissioning.
- Work experience in fabrication, offshore construction, and Inspection and Pre-commissioning activities.
- Strong understanding of engineering design, offshore fabrication, load‑out, T&I, hook‑up, pre‑commissioning and commissioning.
- Knowledge of offshore codes and standards (API, DNV, ISO) and Shell DEPs.
- Solid experience with risk management, schedule control, earned value, interface management, and change management.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills in multicultural environments.
- Strong decision‑making capability, including under pressure and with limited information.
- Ability to lead large teams (>150 personnel) across multiple locations and time zones.
Educational Qualifications
- B.Sc. in an Engineering Discipline or equivalent from an internationally recognized University with 18 years minimum relevant project experience.
