HCM Payroll Business and Systems Implementation Senior Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design and implement process-improvement solutions; analyze operations and recommend changes.
• Gather business and technical requirements through stakeholder meetings, interviews, and workshops.
• Prepare reports, process documentation, and client presentations; align policies and business needs with configured functionality.
• Write user stories, monitor Agile development and deployment, demonstrate functionality, and support functional testing and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet schedules and budgets; contribute to proposals, client relationships, and business development.

Basic qualifications

• Undergraduate degree and at least 5 years of technology project business analysis experience.
• In-depth HR/payroll process knowledge and prior HCM/payroll implementation experience.
• ALM tool experience (JIRA, DevOps, or ELM) and structured Agile or Scrum experience.
• Strong public sector client experience, analytical and quantitative skills, attention to detail, and written/verbal communication.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and consistent quality under tight deadlines.

Preferred qualifications

• Management consulting experience.
• Current CBAP, CSM, PMI-PBA, or PMP certification.
• Experience with large projects, including 100,000+ employees or multiyear implementations, and enterprise government systems/public sector project lifecycles.

Workplace

• Candidates across the United States may be considered, including those not near a Crowe office.

Compensation

• Estimated wage range is $76,200–$151,000 per year; actual pay depends on relevant factors and geographic differential.
