HCM FUNCTIONAL ANALYST

Role overview

Workday HCM support and improvement

• Support designated Workday HCM areas, such as Core HR, Benefits, Talent, and Advanced Compensation.
• Identify and prioritize system issues with managers and users; test systems and work with IT to resolve errors.
• Consult with HR Business Partners, gather requirements, analyze impact, and recommend solutions.
• Evaluate Workday releases and capabilities; configure, test, validate, and implement HCM business-process changes.
• Assist with testing integrations, security, and annual events; maintain HCM master data, including job profiles, roles, positions, and locations.
• Serve as the first contact for HCM issues and share knowledge with the Workday Team Lead and functional team members.
• Develop and maintain Workday reports, including matrix and composite reports, using Report Writer and Report Designer.
• Deliver metrics, trends, and analytical insights through reporting and dashboards; support existing custom reports.
• Participate in training to improve policy and process knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Workday HCM experience and Workday HCM PRO Certification are required.
• HR functional and system experience is preferred.
• Understanding of HR operations and experience in employee data management.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to assess needs, translate requirements, manage multiple projects, prioritize work, and provide timely follow-up.

Schedule

• The listed schedule is full-time, day shift, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
