The Opportunity
Sands Fridge Lines is seeking an experienced and motivated HC Driver / Team Leader to join our Midwest Operations based in Geraldton .
This is a hands-on leadership position that combines professional driving responsibilities with the day-to-day coordination of our Geraldton depot operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of freight throughout Geraldton and the wider Midwest region while providing leadership and support to a small local team.

Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Regional Operations Team, your duties will include:
- Safe and professional delivery of freight throughout Geraldton and surrounding regional areas
- Acting as the primary point of contact for the Geraldton depot
- Providing leadership and support to a small local team
- Coordinating daily transport and depot activities
- Monitoring and recording product temperatures in accordance with company and customer requirements
- Ensuring all delivery documentation and transport paperwork is accurately completed
- Operating electric and manual pallet jacks
- Performing customer deliveries, including hand unloads where required
- Reading and interpreting load plans, manifests, run sheets, and job documentation
- Maintaining a strong focus on customer service and operational efficiency
- Promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
A current and valid HC Driver's Licence
Previous experience operating HC vehicles in a transport or distribution environment
Demonstrated leadership experience or the ability to lead and support a small team
Strong organisational and communication skills
The ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions
A commitment to workplace safety and compliance
Experience with freight handling and load restraint practices
A strong customer service focus and professional attitude
Desirable but not essential
Current WorkSafe High Risk LF Forklift Licence
Experience within refrigerated transport, FMCG, or food distribution operations
