- For This Role, You Will Need:
- Associate degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related technical field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic hardware.
- Ability to diagnose failures at the board and component level.
- Proficiency using electronic test and measurement equipment.
- Experience with soldering, desoldering, and electronic rework techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic computer skills and experience documenting work activities.
- Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- IPC soldering certification or similar electronics assembly certification.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, service, repair, or laboratory environments.
- Familiarity with surface mount (SMT) and through-hole component repair.
- Experience with root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of quality systems and electrostatic discharge (ESD) procedures.
