Responsibilities

  • Ensure hardware design integrity for Google Pixel platforms by validating SoC DVFS and peripheral IO across various OS and Firmware versions.
  • Direct cross-functional execution of validation plans, troubleshooting, and documentation to maintain design quality and ecosystem performance.
  • Execute design verification, signal characterization, power delivery, and interoperability testing while defining system-level validation plans for the Pixel ecosystem.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues in hardware architecture, system performance, production quality, and overall integration.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in consumer electronics/embedded systems design.
  • Ability to travel less than 10% of the time internationally.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in consumer electronics/embedded systems design.
  • Experience with embedded systems, processor selection, various communication protocols (especially DRAM, UFS, USB-C, SPI, I2C/I3C, UART, MIPI, DSI/CSI), analog design, sensor design, low power design, audio acoustics, Cadence/Allegro, various RF technologies.
  • Experience in prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification, and Python scripting.
  • Experience with SOC architecture and validation.
  • Familiarity with concepts like concurrency, DVFS, and peripheral interfaces.
  • Strong electrical engineering fundamentals, including the ability to design high speed digital or analog systems.
