Hardware Deployment Project Manager
Role Overview
Our robots are already working in customer warehouses, and every new deployment depends on the right hardware arriving built, configured and ready. In this role, you’ll own the hardware side of that: deployment readiness, field hardware escalations and returns, and accurate documentation of deployment configurations and bill of materials (BOMs) across Hardware programs. This is an ownership role and much of the processes behind it are yours to build collaboratively with Hardware leadership. As our Hardware Deployment & Development Coordinator, you'll be the hardware team's hub between development and field operations: making sure each deployment's hardware is ready on time, owning how we handle field hardware issues and returns, and keeping our bills of materials and fleet configurations accurate across all our hardware programs. You'll report to our Director of Hardware and work closely with engineers, technicians, Field Ops, Purchasing and customer implementation teams. What you'll do
Own hardware readiness for each customer deployment: build schedules, kit lists, parts status, shipping and site prerequisites.
Be on site for installs and go-lives as the hardware liaison lead, then hand off cleanly to Field Ops.
Own tier-2 hardware escalations: triage, route to the right technician or engineer, and close the loop.
Own our RMA process: intake, disposition, failure analysis coordination and trend reporting back to engineering and suppliers.
Own BOM accuracy and configuration management across programs, including revision control and serial/config traceability.
Build and document the processes behind the work, including the readiness checklist, RMA workflow and configuration control.
Plan development builds and test assets with engineering and the technicians, and turn field findings into engineering action.
Coordinate development builds, test assets and technician schedules, and turn field findings into engineering action.
Give Purchasing a clear demand plan and flag long-lead and single-source risks early.

What you bring
- You've owned hardware readiness for deployments, production launches or NPI builds end to end —, covering schedules, kits, parts and handoffs — and kept other teams moving toward the date without direct authority.
- You've owned the record of what hardware is built and implemented: BOMs and revisions, configurations and change control, or RMA processes. Ideally you’ve build one of these, not just owned it.a BOM or configuration record, an inventory system or an RMA process.
- You can read assembly and part drawings, electrical schematics, and understand critical to quality callouts. drawings and harness pinouts, and you're comfortable getting hands-on to troubleshoot hardware.
- You can take a field escalation from first report to resolution and keep everyone informed along the way.
- You're detail-oriented, agile and adaptable and adapt quickly when plans change.
