About This Role
A Hairdresser is responsible for providing a wide range of hair care services, including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments. The role requires creativity, good customer service skills, and knowledge of current hair trends and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Cut, trim, and style hair according to client requests
- Perform hair coloring, highlights, and chemical treatments
- Wash, shampoo, and condition hair
- Recommend suitable hairstyles and hair care products
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of tools and work area
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends and techniques
- Build and maintain good relationships with clients
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a hairdresser or hairstylist
- Certification or training in cosmetology or hairdressing preferred
- Knowledge of hair care products and techniques
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
