Designation: Hair Trainer – Ladies Salon
Department: Hair Division
Reporting to: HOD – Hair

JOB PURPOSE
To enhance the technical skills, service quality, and product knowledge of all hair staff by delivering structured training programs. The Hair Trainer is responsible for developing and upgrading staff capabilities, ensuring consistent service standards across the branch in alignment with company expectations.

KEY ROLE
- Deliver technical training and skill development for all hair staff
- Support the HOD Hair in maintaining service excellence and consistency
- Ensure all stylists are updated on latest techniques, trends, and product usage
- Focus on training, coaching, and development, not operational control

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Training & Development
- Conduct structured training sessions for:
- Hair cutting
- Coloring techniques
- Treatments and services
- Ensure all staff are trained on standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Develop and implement training calendars and programs
- Provide hands-on demonstrations and practical training

2. Skill Assessment & Improvement
- Evaluate staff technical skills on a regular basis
- Identify skill gaps and create improvement plans
- Provide one-on-one coaching for underperforming staff
- Ensure continuous development of high-potential stylists

3. Product Knowledge & Usage
- Train staff on correct use of professional hair products
- Educate staff on product benefits, ingredients, and selling points
- Support retail team by improving product recommendation skills

4. Service Quality Standardization
- Ensure all hair services are delivered as per company standards
- Monitor consistency in techniques across all stylists
- Introduce new techniques and global trends where applicable

5. Support to HOD – Hair
- Work closely with HOD Hair to align training with business needs
- Provide feedback on staff performance and development needs
- Support implementation of new services and procedures

- No involvement in staff scheduling, discipline, or operational decisions
- No authority over targets or branch performance

6. New Staff Onboarding
- Conduct induction training for new hires
- Ensure new staff meet minimum skill standards before working independently

7. Training Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain training records for all staff
- Prepare reports on:
- Training conducted
- Staff progress
- Skill improvement
- Submit regular updates to HOD Hair

- Maintain professionalism at all times
- Ensure fairness and objectivity in staff evaluations
- Avoid favoritism or bias
- Maintain confidentiality of staff performance data

1. Training Effectiveness
- Minimum 4–6 structured training sessions per month
- 100% staff participation in scheduled training
- Improvement in staff technical assessment scores

- Measurable improvement in staff performance within 60–90 days
- Increased number of multi-skilled stylists

3. Product Knowledge & Retail Support
