About The Role

Join Kingston Education to deliver engaging guest lectures in our Makeup Artist training programs.

Share your expertise with aspiring makeup artists and beauty professionals looking to develop practical skills, industry knowledge, and professional techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver course training sessions, workshops, and live makeup demonstrations
  • Cover topics such as bridal makeup, party makeup, fashion and editorial makeup, corrective makeup, skincare preparation, color theory, contouring, highlighting, and product selection
  • Teach makeup application techniques, hygiene and sanitation standards, client consultation, face and skin analysis, and professional toolkit management
  • Use real-world examples, hands-on practical exercises, and interactive Q&A sessions
  • Guide students in developing confidence, creativity, and industry-ready skills
  • Create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment

Required

  • Advanced proficiency in professional makeup application techniques
  • 4+ years of professional experience as a Makeup Artist in salons, beauty studios, fashion, bridal, television, or related industries
  • Strong communication, presentation, and demonstration skills

Preferred

  • Professional certification in Makeup Artistry from a recognized institution
  • Previous teaching, training, mentoring, or beauty workshop experience
  • Experience in bridal, fashion, editorial, SFX, or beauty industry roles
  • Knowledge of current beauty trends, products, and industry best practices
