Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Doha, Qatar, for a Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS) Consultant.
The GSAS Consultant will oversee and guide sustainability processes in compliance with GSAS requirements, conduct environmental assessments, coordinate with project teams, and provide technical reports.
The role involves liaising with stakeholders, ensuring project alignment with sustainability certifications, offering consultancy on green building practices, and monitoring project milestones to meet established sustainability goals.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of GSAS standards and guidelines, green building practices, and sustainability principles
- Project management skills including stakeholder coordination, milestone tracking, and compliance assurance
- Proficiency with sustainability-related software, data analysis tools, and documentation processes
- Experience in developing technical reports, conducting environmental assessments, and providing consultancy services
- Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and capability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications in sustainability or GSAS are a plus
- Previous experience working on large-scale infrastructure, building, or specialized facility projects is advantageous
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic and relevant local regulations would be beneficial
