The Role
The Group Human Resources Manager owns the full HR remit across the holding company and restaurant operations.
The role operates with significant autonomy, supports Operations and Finance as needed, reports to the CFO/General Manager, and participates in internal Executive Committee meetings.
This full-time, on-site role is based in Dubai.
HR Leadership and Operations
- Review, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage recruitment, talent acquisition, onboarding, employee lifecycle, and exit formalities.
- Coordinate payroll with Finance and lead workforce planning.
- Develop performance management frameworks and coordinate learning and development.
- Ensure consistent compensation and benefits practices.
- Oversee daily HR operations, employee relations, and manager support in resolving workplace issues.
- Ensure compliance with DIFC Employment Laws and Regulations and UAE Labour Law as applicable to each Group entity.
- Lead HR projects and systems improvements and provide strategic HR insights to senior leadership.
- Advise employees and management and work with department heads to implement HR initiatives.
- Develop engagement, retention, and workforce development initiatives, including ongoing review of the staff incentive plan.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong HR management expertise and ability to oversee the function autonomously with a strategic and hands-on approach.
- Proven talent acquisition and workforce planning experience, including recruitment, employer branding, and onboarding.
- Proficiency in performance management, learning and development, and succession planning.
- Knowledge of employee relations, conflict resolution, engagement, retention, and staff incentive schemes.
- Hands-on end-to-end payroll management experience, including WPS, in coordination with Finance.
- Understanding of compensation, benefits, HR analytics, labour cost monitoring, and HR budget management.
- Strong UAE employment legislation knowledge and familiarity with DIFC Employment Laws and Regulations.
- 5+ years of senior HR experience in the UAE; premium fine dining, F&B, or luxury hospitality experience and Dubai premium-market knowledge are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; relevant master’s degree or CIPD/SHRM certification is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder skills, including advising leadership and presenting to the Executive Committee.
- Excellent written and spoken English required; Italian and/or French is an advantage, and other spoken European languages are a plus.
