Group Finance Director
About This Role
The purpose of the job is to oversee all financial aspects of the Group. The role involves timely and accurate reporting; financial consolidations and statutory audit; cash flow management; ensuring compliance with Tax regulations, Corporate regulations, Group financial policies, assessing financial performance; team leadership; stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and monitor all financial activity of the Group.
- Facilitate decision making by analyzing performance of the group, identifying business KPIs, setting targets, assessing leading and lagging performance indicators.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis, prepare reports and presentations as required.
- Drive execution for the ERP enhancement, timely monthly closing, timely annual consolidation and statutory audit.
- Ensure group tax compliance and prepare budgets.
- Develop and ensure adoption of the Group finance policies, implement adequate internal controls, support internal audit, and ensure proper insurance coverage
- Support the business on all tactical matters, including cost-benefit analysis, cash-flow management, cash flow forecast, accounts receivables management, budget management, forecasting requirements, deal analysis and negotiations, partnership compliance, investor relationships, and private/institutional financing, compliance and governance matters.
- Contribute to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate, and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers.
- Ensure that company financial systems are robust, compliant, and support current activities and future growth.
- Play a lead role in directing efficiency and change initiatives and process improvements across the group.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Direct Manager.
