Role Description

The Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, responsible for leading the overall financial strategy and operations of IFG Holding and its subsidiaries.

The Group CFO will oversee financial planning and budgeting cycles, manage group-wide cash flow, and ensure effective capital allocation across business units.

This role includes supervising the preparation, consolidation, and analysis of financial statements, as well as ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in line with applicable standards and regulations.

The Group CFO will partner with executive leadership to evaluate investments, support strategic decisions, and provide data-driven insights on business performance and risks.

Day-to-day responsibilities also include leading the finance team, strengthening internal controls, managing relationships with banks, auditors, and regulators, and driving continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and governance.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Finance and Financial Planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation.
  • Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with experience in consolidation and adherence to relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS).
  • Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide clear, actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Extensive leadership experience in a senior finance role, preferably at group or holding-company level within diversified or investment-driven organizations.
  • Proven track record in cash flow management, banking relationships, fundraising, and investment evaluation.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing finance teams and to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
  • Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required, and a master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
  • Experience working in or with Gulf-region or Saudi-based organizations; familiarity with Saudi regulatory and business environments is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
