The Opportunity
AYA GROUP is seeking an experienced and commercially capable Group Chief Financial Officer (Group CFO) to lead the establishment and long-term development of the Group Finance function.
Reporting directly to the Chairman, the Group CFO will oversee financial governance, consolidation, treasury, planning, compliance, and financial strategy across all Group entities.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the Group's financial governance, institutionalization, and long-term growth strategy.
Core Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the centralized Group Finance function across all operating entities.
- Standardize Group financial policies, reporting structures, accounting practices, and month-end closing procedures.
- Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Saudi regulatory requirements.
- Oversee Group treasury operations, banking relationships, cash management, and rolling cash flow forecasting.
- Direct annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and capital allocation processes across the Group.
- Lead Group-wide tax, VAT, Zakat, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Strengthen financial controls, governance standards, risk management practices, and reporting discipline across all entities.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to the Chairman and Executive Committee.
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, lenders, and regulatory authorities.
- Functionally oversee Finance Managers across all Group entities.
Experience
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or corporate financial management.
- Minimum 7 years in a senior finance leadership role within a multi-entity organization.
- Proven experience managing financial operations across diversified business units or group structures.
- Demonstrated success implementing centralized reporting, governance, and financial control frameworks.
- Strong experience in treasury management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Proven experience leading organizational change and driving accountability across multiple business units.
- Hands-on knowledge of IFRS and Saudi financial regulatory requirements.
Technical Competencies
- Strong financial reporting and consolidation expertise under IFRS.
- Experience with ERP systems and modern financial reporting tools.
- Advanced financial modeling, analytical, and cash flow management capabilities.
- Strong understanding of Saudi tax, VAT, Zakat, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with internal control and enterprise risk management frameworks.
