Grocery Manager

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Manage product assortment, pricing, displays, inventory levels, ordering, and stock rotation.
• Lead and schedule team members and coach staff to deliver consistent, high-quality customer service.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment.
• Track sales performance, implement promotions, and analyze department metrics.
• Collaborate with store leaders to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Engage with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support relationships and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in supermarkets or grocery retail operations and familiarity with store procedures and merchandising standards.
• Proven sales skills and knowledge of inventory control, stock management, loss prevention, and basic reporting.
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience in retail or a related sector.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams, manage schedules, and handle performance feedback constructively.
• Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic proficiency in retail systems and Microsoft Office; POS and inventory software familiarity is advantageous.
• Relevant education in business, retail management, or a related field is preferred.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are highly beneficial.
